The RAID® Course

A relentlessly positive approach to working with extreme behavior.

RAIDing (Reinforce Appropriate, Implode Disruptive) gives a relentlessly positive philosophy
for working with extreme behavior. Already attended by 10,000 UK professionals, RAIDing is especially relevant to working in secure and semi-secure environments. RAIDing provides a positive approach to be proud of, developing appropriate ‘green’ behavior so that it simply overwhelms the problem behaviors in question. Importantly though, RAIDing also tells you
what to do when problem behavior happens.

A 3-day course for 6-16 people.
We bring the training to you for an all-inclusive fee of $7,795 plus GST/HST.

Preventing Face-to-Face Violence

Powerful non-physical techniques for handling aggression and violence
effectively.

First run in 1983 and constantly developed since then, this course is the ‘original’ of
courses on the non-physical management of aggression. Attended so far by about 100,000 participants it covers how and why anger and aggression develop, how to prevent
aggressive and violent incidents (both to oneself and others), key techniques for responding
to an actively aggressive or violent person, and what to do after an incident has been
resolved. Everything you need to know about non-physical responses to anger, aggression
and violence.

A 2-day course for 6-16 people. (1-day version also available.)
We bring the training to you for an all-inclusive fee of $5,795 plus GST/HST.

Helping Angry and Violent People to Change

Written by William Davies, the author of Overcoming Anger and Irritability, this
is a top‘anger management’ course.

This, APT’s Anger Management course, focuses primarily on working with individuals (rather
than groups, which are covered, but more briefly) who are habitually angry and sometimes violent. It covers the problems of working with such people but principally focuses on
strategies for helping them overcome their anger and violence. Importantly it also recognizes depression as a major cause of irritability and anger.

A 3-day course for 6-16 people.

We bring the training to you for an all-inclusive fee of $7,795 plus GST/HST.
