The RAID® Course

A relentlessly positive approach to working with extreme behavior.

RAIDing (Reinforce Appropriate, Implode Disruptive) gives a relentlessly positive philosophy
for working with extreme behavior. Already attended by 10,000 UK professionals, RAIDing
is especially relevant to working in secure and semi-secure environments. RAIDing provides
a positive approach to be proud of, developing appropriate ‘green’ behavior so that it simply overwhelms the problem behaviors in question. Importantly though, RAIDing also tells you
what to do when problem behavior happens.

A 3-day course for 6-16 people.
We bring the training to you for an all-inclusive fee of $7,795 plus GST/HST.

The ADDRESS™ Course
for Working with Personality Disorder

A powerful integrated package for working effectively with Personality Disorder.

This course combines relevant aspects of Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy
and Motivational Interviewing to form a powerful and systematic intervention for personality disorder. It highlights the problem behaviors associated with personality disorder, how to conceptualize those behaviors in specific cases, how to facilitate insight and motivation
in the patient, and how to generate change strategies. Importantly it also gives participants
a chance to practise applying them to prepared scenarios.

A 3-day course for 6-16 people.

NEW: Schema Focused Cognitive Therapy

To identify people's key schemas is as close as we get to finding 'what makes
a person tick'.

A schema is a package of behavior, biology, emotion and cognitions, which all fire off when triggered by the right stimulus. So if someone has a strong schema of 'mistrust', this will easily
be triggered in situations which may not warrant mistrust. This will have unfortunate results
for their relationships and more; a person's mistrusting behavior is not good to receive. The course is about (a) how to identify the schemas that people have, and (b) how to intervene to modify those schemas to the benefit of everyone.

A 3-day course for 6-16 people.
We bring the training to you for an all-inclusive fee of $7,795 plus GST/HST.

"In an ideal world - all teachers, social
workers, youth workers, probation
officers and health workers (top to
bottom) would be RAIDers!!'

Ann-Marie Clifford, Volunteer
Coordinator - The RAID® Course

"This was an excellent course, very
well presented, informative and useful. Both the theory and practical sessions were interesting and useful and the opportunity to revise information for
quizzes helped to consolidate learning."
