Challenging Behaviour Courses

The RAID® Course. The positive approach to working with disturbed and challenging behavior.

The RAID® course is an excitingly positive approach to working with disturbed and challenging behavior, to eradicate it at source. It is a leading positive approach for working with disturbed and challenging behavior - over 20,000 professionals have attended it.

We bring the training to your own organisation and train a group of 6-15 people, or you or your colleagues can be trained to roll out the course in your organisation under license. (Online version also available.)

Executive Summary:

The 3-day RAID® course is a leading approach for tackling disturbed and challenging behavior at source: over 20,000 professionals have attended it. It is a comprehensive system which teaches professionals a philosophy and practice not only to deal with disturbed and challenging behavior when it occurs, but also to prevent it by nurturing positive behavior targetted to displace the disturbed and challenging behavior. Staff feel pleased to share a unified system and to know what they are doing and why they are doing it, while clients delight in a relentlessly positive and empowering approach.

As well as providing training in the RAID® approach, APT gives annual awards for excellent work with disturbed and challenging behavior, and also recognises RAID® Centres of Excellence
